New Wizz Air route to Montenegro

With Podgorica Memmingen Airport now receives its 13th destination in Eastern Europe. Starting on 21st of August, the airline Wizz Air connects twice a week Montenegro capital with the airport.

Always on Thursday and on Sunday it goes to the capitol of Montenegro with around 145,000 inhabitants. It is the country’s largest city and its economic and political center.
Thanks to its Adriatic coast, tourism plays a strong economic role. The capital Podgorica – the name “Pod Gorica” means “below the mountain” – is an important reference point for both leisure and business guests. “With this new connection we create another bridge between Southern and Southeastern European country whose tourism industry has great potential,” explains Allgäu Airport Memmingen Sales Director Marcel Schütz. Also visits of relatives and friends are now easier and more convenient.

Flights to Podgorica are now available on www.wizzair.com from 24,99 Euro.
