The Eastern European route network from Memmingen Airport continues to grow. Starting June 17th, the airline Wizz Air offers three weekly flights to and from Suceava, Romania.
Suceava is considered as the center of the Romanian Bukovina which was also shaped by settlers from Swabia in the 19th century. Even today, there are numerous family relationships between the region and southern Germany.
Next to Sibiu, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Tirgu Mures and the capital Bucharest, which will be offered starting April 2nd, Suceava is the sixth Romanian destination from Memmingen. “As on all Eastern European flights, we expect a mix of tourists, business travelers and visitors to friends and families on this route,” explains Airport Sales Manager Marcel Schütz.
Flights are already bookable.
