Two become four! In future, there will not only be two flights a week to Rome, after the airline Wizz Air recently added the Italian capital to its flight network from Memmingen. Ryanair is now also offering a non-stop flight from Germany’s Allgäu to Rome twice a week – starting at the beginning of May.Passengers at Memmingen Airport now have a choice: On Tuesday and Saturday, they can fly with Wizz Air to Fiumicino Airport in Rome. Or on Wednesday or Sunday – then with Ryanair. Wizz Air will launch the new connection on 5 September, Ryanair on 3 May. “Having four new flights a week to Rome within a few days is a great thing, and makes our Italian offer even more attractive,” emphasises Airport Sales Manager Marcel Schütz. The Italian capital offers enormous potential, so that a high demand for these flights – which can already be booked – is to be expected. Memmingen Airport will be offering a total of eight connections to Italy next summer.

Rome, the eternal city, is once again accessible from Memmingen.
