According to § 28b para. 5 of the Infection Protection Act, 3G (short for German “geimpft, getestet, genesen – vaccinated, tested, recovered”) will apply in local and long-distance public transport from 24 November 2021. Thus, all passengers (except pupils) are obliged to present proof of vaccination, proof of recovery or a negative test (antigen test or PCR max. 24h old) upon request.
