Marcel Schütz new managing director of airport subsidiary
Allgate, the subsidiary of Flughafen Memmingen GmbH, will in future be managed by a dual management team. Marcel Schütz is now part of the management duo alongside the previous managing director Ralf Schmid.
Allgate GmbH, the wholly-owned airport subsidiary responsible for airline handling, check-in, baggage management and the operation of the Travel Value Shop, has continuously increased its workforce in recent years. It now employs more than 140 people. “With the growth of the team, the tasks of the management have also increased significantly,” explains Ralf Schmid, Managing Director of Flughafen Memmingen GmbH and Allgate. For this reason, it has now been decided to appoint former Allgate authorised signatory Marcel Schütz as second managing director. Although only 39 years old, the business economist is one of the veterans at Memmingen Airport. He started 18 years ago as the first dual student at DHBW Ravensburg and is still responsible for flight operations, fire brigade, security and airline sales as an authorised signatory of Flughafen GmbH.
The young management team at Allgate is completed by Ground Operations Manager Saida Rauscher, Passenger Handling Manager Nadine Holzmann – both trained at the airport – and Ramp Handling Manager Timo Korz.
