Four new sun-filled destinations from Memmingen

The prospects for the summer flight schedule in 2023 are literally beaming with sunlight. It is already clear that there are attractive newcomers among the list of destinations. The route from Memmingen to Naples kicks off on 26 March. “This will make us even more attractive for holidaymakers looking to head to Italy,” emphasises Airport Sales Manager, Marcel Schütz. The popular holiday destination can be reached on numerous routes from Memmingen. There are non-stop flights to Italy’s third largest city twice a week. And just one day later, on 27 March, we’ll be launching the route from Memmingen to Malta. The sunny island nestled in the Mediterranean is becoming increasingly popular with German holidaymakers. Ryanair connects Malta International Airport with Memmingen twice a week. Valencia in Spain is back on the flight schedule, with flights from Memmingen on Mondays and Thursdays from 27 March. Every Friday from 31 March, there will be a non-stop flight to Corfu, one of the greenest islands in Greece.

The new destination Krakow is also ideal for a city trip. The second largest city in Poland has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1978, and has held the title of UNESCO City of Literature since 2013. In 2000, Krakow was the European Capital of Culture. From 28 March, Ryanair will fly twice a week to the neighbouring country. “With this new route,” says Marcel Schütz, “we are also creating a key flight connection for all those who want to visit friends and relatives in both countries, as well as for exciting city breaks.”
