Two new destinations on the flight schedule from April

Ryanair connects Memmingen with Dubrovnik and Sarajevo

The holiday destination of Croatia is coming a little closer to the Allgäu. With the start of the 2024 summer flight schedule, Memmingen Airport will have a new connection to Dubrovnik. Also new in next year’s timetable: Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia.

Those wishing to visit Croatia and the Adriatic coast next year have a choice: they can either explore the port city of Dubrovnik in the south – there will be a new twice-weekly Ryanair service from Memmingen from 2 April 2024. Or they can head further north and land in Zadar, which the airline already served last summer. “This gives us an optimal connection to Croatia, a very popular holiday destination,” explains airport sales manager Marcel Schütz. “Both destinations can also be perfectly combined for a discovery trip along the coast.

Sarajevo is making a comeback next year. The Bosnian capital, which will be served by Wizz Air until October 2022, will return to the schedule on 1 April 2024. Ryanair will then connect Memmingen with the metropolis of around 550,000 inhabitants on Mondays and Thursdays. “Memmingen Airport will thus play a key role as a transport hub between southern Germany and Bosnia and Herzegovina,” says Sales Director Marcel Schütz. In addition to the new destination of Sarajevo, the country’s two other major airports, Tuzla and Banja Luka, are already connected to Memmingen by Ryanair and Wizz Air.

The two new flights to Sarajevo and Dubrovnik, as well as Ryanair’s other services, can be booked immediately.
