A successful start to professional life at Memmingen AirportMemmingen Airport is also setting the course for tomorrow’s world when it comes to young talent. New trainees and students have just started their careers at the most successful low-cost airport in southern Germany.The airport has been proving itself as a competent training centre for many years, and has offered numerous young people jobs with a secure future. “Our growth is also fuelling the next generation of professionals,” reports Airport Managing Director, Ralf Schmid. After all, a successful company is an important basis for a professional future. “We literally have jobs that are on the up,” says Schmid. This also includes further training and qualification opportunities following the initial training programme. Four young people seized the opportunity this year, and are now training to become air transport service agents. A future agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technician has also made a successful start to his career. The dual study programme at the airport already enjoys a long-standing tradition. In addition to existing collaboration efforts with the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Ravensburg, the Kempten University of Applied Sciences is now also a new cooperation partner. Here, one student has chosen the subject International Management, while two young women in Ravensburg have chosen International Business and Digital BusinessManagement.
